Experimental Project
PortoWeather is an experimental weather forecasting project for the Porto metropolitan area in Portugal. It is not an official weather service.
This project uses machine learning and automated data processing to generate NWS-style weather products. The forecasts are generated for educational and research purposes only.

Data Sources
- Weather Data: Open-Meteo API (ECMWF, GFS, and other models)
- Forecast Generation: AI-powered text generation using large language models
- Update Frequency: Nowcast every hour, full forecasts every 3 hours
